Amber Estabrook – Senior Sales Associate - Amber has an extensive background in retail including Nordstroms and Gymboree. Her daughter, 12, and son, 14, keep her busy year round with cheer team and baseball. “I’m a naturally up person. I think shopping should always be fun – especially for adorable things for your baby!”

Annaka Cory – Sales Associate – Annaka’s experience as a nanny has given her extensive knowledge of infant and toddler care. She is a Santa Rosa Junior College student with an interest in psychology.

Sam Scott – Sales Associate – Sam earned a B.A. in Psychology from Sonoma State University. She previously worked with visitors and collectors at the Snoopy Gallery and Gift Shop. Sam enjoys helping parents-to-be prepare for their new addition. "I love seeing the new products constantly coming into the store. It’s all so cute!"

Monica Arroyo – Sales Associate - Monica’s toddler, Damian, keeps her up to date on all kinds of baby products. She’s also an SRJC student with an interest in computer science. “I like showing new parents cool tricks about strollers and car seats!”

Paul Herman – Sales Associate/Warehouseman – Paul is our warehouseman and also works on the sales floor. In his spare time, he is an avid photographer and videographer.

Rebecca Hacke – Senior Sales Associate/Office Manager - Rebecca has worked at My Baby News for nine years. She is the mother of a toddler. In the evenings she is a judo instructor and college student majoring in business. “I like it when new dads come into the store with ‘the list’ from mom. Usually it’s for slightly embarrassing stuff like nursing pads and lanolin.”

Michaela Thomas – Sales Associate – Michaela is a Santa Rosa Junior College student preparing for a four-year university. When not studying, Michaela plays on the SRJC water polo team and sings in a 40’s revival trio, the Fondettes. “I always laugh when the dads call the cup holders on the strollers ‘beer holders’.”

Janelle Thomas – Sales Associate/Assistant Buyer – Janelle is a Sonoma State University student majoring in retail marketing. Janelle plays “mom” to her Jardine’s parrot, Karma.

Paula Thomas-Resing – Owner – My Baby News is the third business Paula has owned. She has been a partner in a CPA firm and an interior designer. Her two daughters, Janelle and Michaela work alongside her at the store. She is also the stepmother of two grown children. Paula holds degrees from Sonoma State University and Golden Gate University. “It feels great when I can help lower the anxiety level of expectant parents.”

George Resing – Owner – George is a father of two and step father of two. He worked as a CPA and business appraiser for thirty-three years before entering retail. “I can’t help but break into a big grin seeing all the babies in the store.”
