Renee Sweezey – Senior Sales Associate - Renee has had a thirty year career in retail sales. In her free time she enjoys adventure travel including hiking, backpacking and camping. “First time grandparents are often more excited than the parents. The enthusiasm is contagious!”

Joy Young – Senior Sales Associate - Joy is a twenty year veteran of the baby products industry. She has worked at the wholesale, retail and manufacturing level. She is a mother of two and grandmother of five. She is an avid knitter and seamstress and spends most of her free time watching grandkids. “Grandmas are my favorite customers!”

Rebecca Hacke – Sales Associate - Rebecca has worked at My Baby News for seven years. She had her own baby news in 2009 with the birth of daughter, Georgia. In the evenings she is a judo instructor and college student majoring in business. “I like it when new dads come into the store with ‘the list’ from mom. Usually it’s for slightly embarrassing stuff like nursing pads and lanolin.”

Paul Herman – Sales Associate – Paul is our warehouseman and also works on the sales floor. In his spare time, he is an avid photographer and videographer.

Michaela Thomas – Sales Associate – Michaela is a Santa Rosa Junior College student preparing for a four-year university. When not studying, Michaela sings in a 40’s revival trio, the Fondettes. “I always laugh when the dads call the cup holders on the strollers ‘beer holders’.”

Janelle Thomas – Sales Associate/Buyer’s Assistant – Janelle is a Sonoma State University student majoring in retail marketing. Janelle plays “mom” to her Jardine’s parrot, Karma.

Annaka Cory – Sales Associate – Annaka’s experience as a nanny has given her extensive knowledge of infant and toddler care. She is a Santa Rosa Junior College student with an interest in psychology.

Paula Thomas-Resing – Owner – My Baby News is the third business Paula has owned. She has been a partner in a CPA firm and an interior designer. Her two daughters, Janelle and Michaela work alongside her at the store. She is also the stepmother of two grown children. Paula holds degrees from Sonoma State University and Golden Gate University. “It feels great when I can help lower the anxiety level of expectant parents.”

George Resing – Owner – George is a father of two and step father of two. He also owns a CPA practice in Santa Rosa and splits time between the two businesses. “I can’t help but break into a big grin whenever I’m at the store seeing all the babies.”
